Clothing Is Political - And Clothing Is Narrative
In March of 2020, when quarantine began, I found myself with increased free time and increased anxiety. To keep my hands busy, I sewed. By the end of 2020, I had a pile of wearable garments - each with a narrative and a name attached to it. Clothing is another text, another way of communicating character and story, so I leaned into the process. It took a while to admit to myself that I have been approaching garment construction as art. Here are the results.
